A pillar of our church has died and was buried, and I wanted to pause to honor him, for he is one who makes the past honorable.
Bob Davidson was a man who loved people and cared enough to listen, to be that “non-judgmental presence”—to gently guide, to be counted on to stand up for truth and the right in a way that made them accessible to those under pressure, or too sure of themselves.
Bob served our town and church in his good times and his hard times. He loved the church, and he loved the Lord. Already I miss him.
