Session Retreat Successful

Last week our Session (church governing body) held its annual retreat at the beautiful Board Room of Peninsula Hospital. The meetings featured prayers by elders and clergy, Bible study and small groups, and presentations with discussions.

Elders discussed in detail our year of preparation for a transition of leadership, we discussed God’s call for us all to commit to biblical unity together, and heard a report on possible adjustments to our Sunday morning worship to strengthen our church. We prayed for all of the church, and encourage/thank all our members and friends for also praying for the health and life of this great church of Christ.
