Relief for Tornado-Ravaged Communities in Midwest

Washington IL TornadoLast week a tornado ravaged the Midwest, particularly the central Illinois community of Washington. There are many unmet needs that we have the opportunity to fulfill: tote bags, gloves, non-perishable food items (granola bars, canned food, etc.), toiletries, flashlights, baby formula, and diapers.

If you would like to make a donation toward relief efforts in Illinois, please bring them by the church office. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ to this region of our country that is in great need.

Also, Pastor Henry would like to organize a mission team to do disaster relief in Washington, IL, and has contacted local churches to find out the possibilities that exist for us to be the hands and feet of Christ in that region for 4–5 days. Please contact Henry at if you’re interested in joining him in this effort. Potential trip dates might be the second week in December or early January.
