Parenting Class: “Getting to Know My Feelings” | April 30 – June 4

One Great Hour of SharingPastor Beth Frykberg will be leading a six-week class from the Confident Kid Curriculum as part of our Body & Soul Spring Series from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. These sessions are being presented to give parents tools to help their children understand:

  • All our feelings are OK
  • We can – and should – label our feelings accurately
  • There are healthy ways to talk about and deal with our feelings
  • Our feelings tell us when we need to ask for help
  • Jesus understands us and helps us deal with our feelings

Join us for a Nursery School presentation by Sylvia Ford, MA, Early Childhood Consultant, that explores the pros and cons of young children’s use of technology such as TV, video games, and computers. Discussion will include information about development in the early years in relationship to time spent with a screen, as well as strategies for setting limits around frequency and duration of use.
